Small Ruminant

We have a full service small ruminant hospital that is prepared to handle most any medical or surgical problem that may arise.

Bovine

In August 2005, we proudly announced the opening of our cattle facilities.  It is a full service facility, allowing us to handle most any medical or surgical case that may present. 

Equine

Equine services make up the majority of our large animal services. We have a 4600 square-foot equine hospital built in 2003. The following is a partial list of equine services:

General Elective Surgery

• Including treatment of severe soft tissue and orthopedic injuries

• Stallion Castrations (including cryptorchids)

Full Medical Colic Services

• With rare exception, we refer all “surgical colics” to one of the Equine Surgical Referral Hospitals in Alabama. All medical colics are handled in our hospital.
